Best Selling Voluspa Candles

When a brand like Voluspa has so many fragrances to choose from, sometimes it's hard to pick one.  If you're not sure what to get sometimes you can get inspiration for a new fragrance by finding out what other people enjoy.  Here are our Top 5 Voluspa Best Sellers:

Voluspa Vervaine Olive Leaf
French lemon vervaine and crushed olive leaves with a heart of rosewood.
Vervaine Olive Leaf by Voluspa is clean and pure - reminiscent of hand soap you would find in the restroom at a fine luxury hotel. This best selling Voluspa fragrance is great for gift-giving with it's neutral appeal and fresh essence. Voluspa Vervaine Olive Leaf is available in a 12oz jar candle, 15oz ceramic candle, votive candle, 2-wick tin candle, diffuser and room spray. Voluspa room sprays are made with cosmetic grade ingredients so they can also be used as a body spray.

Voluspa Baltic Amber
Amber resin, sandalwood, cedar and vanilla bloom.
Baltic Amber has been a top Voluspa seller for many years for good reason - it's the best amber on the market. Period. It's warm and sensual with a hint of sweetness from the vanilla. This Voluspa fragrance is perfect for cool nights when you want something snuggly or anytime you seek comfort.   Voluspa Baltic Amber is available in a 3-wick tin candle, jar candle, scalloped candle, travel tin candle, petite diffuser and room spray.

Voluspa Goji Tarocco Orange
Ruby tarocco orange peel and tart goji berry.
While Voluspa Santiago Huckleberry (also uber popular) is a jammy and sweet-fruity fragrance, Voluspa Goji Taracco Orange is a tart-fruity fragrance with pungent goji berries. This Volupsa scent is crazy fragrant and extremely vibrant. If Vervaine Olive Leaf is Eva Cassidy and Baltic Amber is Michael Buble, Goji Tarocco Orange is Lady Gaga. Front and center and impossible to not notice. Beautiful in a very bold way. Voluspa Goji Tarocco Orange is available in a 3-wick tin candle, jar candle, scalloped candle, travel tin candle, petite diffuser and room spray.

Voluspa Makassar Ebony & Peach
Solid black ebony wood combined with ripe peaches and apple blossom.
Makassar Ebony & Peach is like Batman - dark, super sexy and slightly mysterious. This fragrance marries polar opposites -  feminine, fruity peach notes with deep, manly woody tones - in a very sleek way. If you like peach, you'll love it. If you hate peach, step aside so everyone else can get in line to get it. This fragrance is very unisex (guys dig it big-time). Voluspa Makassar Ebony & Peach is available in a petite maison (votive) candle, corta maison candle, 3-wick tin candle and diffuser.

Voluspa Branche Vermeil
An icicle crusted branch of winter spruce snapped with hints of citron, balsam and sugar.
Branch Vermeil is something old, something new, something borrowed yet something silver. If you liked the Voluspa Frost Pinecone fragrance from the old Seasons Collection, you'll love the new Volupsa Branche Vermeil scent. It's fresh, like crisp mountain air, yet warming at the same time as hints of sugar soften and mellow the scent. I absolutely adore this new fragrance and find it fighting for air time with my beloved Voluspa French Bourbon Vanille so often that I usually end up layering the two together for a lovely combination. If you haven't tried this one yet I highly recommend it!
Voluspa Branche Vermeil is available in a petite maison (votive) candle, corta maison candle, 3-wick tin candle and diffuser.

Voluspa fragrances that aren't on this list but should be are Santiago Huckleberry and French Bourbon Vanille.

What are your favorite Voluspa candles?

What's New in Luxury Home Fragrance for the 2013 Fall & Holiday Season

This past summer the best brands in luxury home fragrance announced their new products and fragrances for the upcoming fall and holiday season. These are just the highlights. You can find many more new product launches on our website at www.CandlesOffMain.com.

Antica Farmacista

The new Manhattan fragrance from Antica Farmacista is an ode to the classic cocktail and sophisticated city. It evokes effervescence, sparkle and mystery. This sexy scent starts with  zesty Satsuma and bergamot citrus notes to balance the spice of aromatic black pepper. A subtle brandied cherry note is an elegant accompaniment to the rich notes of deep cognac, vetiver, amber and bourbon. I absolutely adore this new Antica diffuser. It's as complex and inviting as the city itself.

Voluspa

Voluspa launched two new fragrances this season. Crane Flower is the latest addition to the Japonica collection. It's a fruity floral blend of Bird of Paradise nectar, ripe grapefruit, geranium and lavender. The packaging and fragrance are both stunning!

New to the Vermeil collection is Ponderosa - a smokey blend of Ponderosa pine bark, sap and needle with warm musk and black amber. This is a great unisex scent perfect for the cool fall and winter months.

Voluspa is bringing back the sprays for the Japonica Collection! This is great news for anyone that has been missing their Baltic Amber or Santigo Huckleberry spray. I can't wait to try the Moso Bamboo spray. I think that will be amazing. I'm still hoping they come out with sprays for the Vermeil Collection before I run out of my sacred French Bourbon Vanille.

The Maison Noir, Blanc and Rouge petite jar gift sets were discontinued in exchange for a gorgeous new gift set for the Vermeil Collection. The new Voluspa gift set features six votive candles each in a different Voluspa Vermeil fragrance.

Note: The Voluspa Chestnut & Vetiver fragrance is getting a facelift. It's changing from a warm, golden color to a deep, rich burgundy.

Votivo

Votivo added 2 new fragrances to their Holiday Collection. Enchantment is a blend of fresh mint and birchwood. Velvet Night is an inviting fragrance with brandied pear and warm cinnamon.

Votivo also added a new fragrance to the Aromatics Collection. Speakeasy smells like aged oak barrels brimming with the intoxicating aroma of spices, fermented fruit, and a delicate touch of caramelized sweetness. This is a great scent to try if you are looking for something cozy and comforting.

Nest Fragrances

Nest was very busy this season! There are a lot of new things to report:

The Sicilian Tangerine fragrance they launched this past summer was such a huge hit (we, and every customer we show it to, are absolutely going crazy over it) they are quickly bringing in a votive and 3-wick candle size as well as a diffuser and (I think) hand soap. Yay!

Nest Tahiti Vanille was disconinued and replaced by Vanilla Orchid & Almond - a blend of almond, white orchid, coconut milk, vanilla, amber, musk and patchouli. I was able to try it last night and it's actually the opposite of what I said in the video. It's more sugary, almost like butterscotch frosting. If you wanted something sweeter than Tahiti Vanille you'll be very happy.

The new Nest Passion candle is a blend of peony and dewy garden roses with warm sandalwood. Nest is going to donate 10% of their sales to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. This candle has deep pink wax and pretty packaging covered with bright pink peonies - perfect for give giving!

Nest Woodland Truffle is a smokey blend perfect for the fall and winter months. It blends French truffle, black pepper, oakmoss, cedar and vetiver. If you like Elton John Fireside or Lafco Feu de Bois, be sure to give this one a try.

The Nest Holiday Collection has 2 new additions: a room spray and a grande candle. The grand candle is enormous in size weighing in at 77oz with a 350 hour burn time and 4-wicks. The gold detail on the vessel is exquisite and the keepsake box is perfection.

Nest Birchwood Pine also has two new welcome additions: a room spray and diffuser - both perfect for amplifying your holiday tree fragrance.

Elton John candle fans will be very happy to hear that the Fireside candle is coming back. Sir Elton John Fireside is a blend of Madagascar vanilla, exotic woods, smoky embers and juniper berry. I really love this one - it's more smokey and not as sweet as I remembered.

K. Hall Designs

K. Hall added a new fragrance to their Barr Co. Collection. Fir & Grapefruit is a bright and lively scent that will be available in a candle as well as a variety of cleaning products. I adore  and highly recommend the K. Hall cleaning products and I'm really excited to use their new counter top spray in this new scent.

Tocca

Tocca added a new fragrance to their perfume collection. Margaux is a blend of florals with cashmere wood, musk and vanilla for a warm, sultry scent. It’s a darker fragrance to balance out the lighter, floral fragrances they offer now. I love this one! Be sure to try it.

Aquiesse

Aquiesse discontinued the Frakincense & Mryhh candle (why oh why??) and added the new Ivory Rose & Oud candle. This elegant blend of white rose petals, warm linen and oud wood will add a touch of class to your holiday gathering.

Frakincense and myrrh are the most highly sought out scents after the classic tree and no one offered them but Aquiesse. What a sad loss. It was a great fragrance that just needed more amplification. It wasn't the fragrance, it was the intensity. Turn up the volume and bring it back - please!

What products or fragrances are you most excited about this fall and holiday season?

Windows Wide Open

It's one of those beautiful, early spring days when the first thing you want to do is open all the windows to let the fresh air in and let the stale, winter air out.  I put together a bright and lively fragrance blend for this unusually warm day: Aquiesse French Oak Currant, DayNaDecker Amara and Voluspa Coeur de Cassis.  This pungent blend is invigorating and refreshing.

Friday Night Lights

I love layering fragrances!  This blend is festive and relaxing - perfect for a night at home with a good movie.  The LAFCO Penthouse candle has a champagne fragrance - bubbly and playful.  Aura Merry helps ground the blend with Siberian Fir while adding some fun with golden raspberries.  Finally, Voluspa Atelier Provence Lavande adds the relaxing note to balance the scent for an easy evening.

What fragrances do you like to layer?

Sexy Scents for Valentine's Day

Once a year, Valentine's Day provides the opportunity for couples to celebrate their romance.  Girls live out their fantasy of being swept of their feet and treated to a night of lavish affection.  Guys.... well.... guys get lucky, if they're lucky - their favorite thing.  So it's a win-win for everyone.

Nothing sets the stage for romance like candles.  Ok, bubbly, chocolate and flowers help, but let's face it, you can't beat the ambiance from elegantly lit candles.  Find the right fragrance and you've got a home run.  Try these sexy scents for a night like no other:

WHAT: Voluspa Champagne Rose. Brut rose champagne chilled and poured over cassis berries and edible white rose petals.

WHY: The effervescent champagne is lively and festive to perfectly compliment the sensual rose notes.  The effect from the Corta and Petite Maison candles adds shimmer as the light shines through the gaps in the vermeil on the inside of the candle.  As beautiful to look at as it is to smell.

WHO: For the more conservative couple that finds comfort in tradition.  For the guy that likes to play it safe and know he's got a home run on his hands.  For the girl that grew up in a pink room.

WHAT: Voluspa Moso Bamboo.  I know, another Voluspa scent.  It's no wonder Traci has 3 babies!  Moso bamboo, black musc and Japanese cypress.

WHY: This one is uber sexy and perfect for the guy that is scent shy.  One sniff of this and he's want to shower in this fragrance.  It's crisp with notes of cypress yet clean and silky at the same time.  I love the scalloped vessel - perfectly romantic for your night of romance.

WHO: For the guy that wears cologne and sleek shoes.  Also for the guy that likes nice things but isn't comfortable admitting it.  (You can smell good and not be Metro Man.  Don't be afraid.)  For the girl that likes the smell of a guy.

WHAT: Nest Three O'ClockThe precious essence of sandalwood is entwined with subtle nuances of smoldering embers, black amber and frankincense.

WHY: Jump right into the heart of the night with this fragrance.  Dark and mysterious, this fragrance is as smoldering and sexy as it gets.  The
smoky aspect is a perfect match for the sleek black wax and glossy vessel.

WHO: 50 Shades of Grey.  Nuff said.

WHAT: Aura Bloom. A time of greatest beauty and freshness. A traditional floral meets lush greens with notes of tuberose, vetiver, and Oriental incense

WHY: If florals strike your fancy, try Aura Bloom.  While rose seems like an obvious choice for romance, our research (customers frothing at the mouth) shows that most women request tuberose for intimate spaces.  This not-too-sweet floral will satiate your guy with its more masculine undertones of vetiver and incense.

WHO: She wears heals at all costs. You can probably find something silky and/or lacy in her delicates drawer.  He likes all dat with some extra hot and sweaty on top.

WHAT: Aquiesse Sandalwood Vanille. Bergamot, lavender, white vanilla fleur, sandalwood and musk.

WHY: If cozy and cuddly is more your style, this one will comfort you like a warm, fluffy blanket.  Break out the Snuggies and hot chocolate.  There's no shame in that game!

WHO: You know what a Snuggie is and full-on jambs are your style.

Whatever your style, the key to any succesful evening it to work it.  You don't get this kind of spotlight often, so work it girlfriend!  And let us know what fragrance works for you.

Crazy for Coconut Candles

It never fails. The weather heats up and everyone starts clamoring for coconut candles.  A tropical oasis to the rescue you from the obliterating heat. Here are our favorite coconut candles:

Archipelago Botanicals Fiji - Fresh
Photo from rawfoodrecipes.com
If you are looking for something more along the lines of suntan lotion - this is it.  It's not as over-the-top and obvious as that, though.  It's more refined and sophisticated - like delicate cookies.  Take real coconut meat and shred it so the essence is amplified.  Stir in some real cane sugar to sweeten in just a tad and top with a quick squirt of lemon juice and a bit of lemon zest for freshness.  Perfection!

Simpatico Meringue - Creamy
Photo from marthastewart.com
If Seda Citron du Sud is fruity and Archipelago Fiji is fresh, Simaptico Meringue is creamy.  The name for this one is perfect.  Think of a decadent coconut cream pie that makes you feel so good inside.  Creamy milk, a touch of sugar, fresh coconut and a meringue top that is perfectly toasted.  Bonus for this one - a beautiful hobnail glass holder that you will want to reuse for years to come with pens, makeup brushes, flowers, candles....

Photo from sodahead.com
 Voluspa Bella Sucre - Floral
You just walked into the atrium of a luxurious hotel in Hawaii.  They immediately decorate you with a Hawaiian Lei and offer you a tropical drink served in a coconut.  The smell of the taire flowers around your neck mingle with the creamy coconut drink refreshing you... ahhhh!  Voluspa Bella Sucre is decadently sweet with demerara sugar and soothing with coconut milk.  The touch of taire flower whisks you away to your favorite tropical vacation spot.  A necessary and well deserved indulgence.  Available in a scalloped candle, 3-wick tin, large jar and mini diffuser

Seda Citron du Sud - Fruity
Imagine a fresh summer fruit salad.  The bowl brimming with juicy pineapple and bright apricot.  On top there's a generous sprinkling of clean coconut shavings.  That is Seda Citron du Sud.  Slightly fruity. Intensely summer.

What's your favorite coconut fragrance to soothe the summer heat?

Voluspa Tuberosa di Notte

Voluspa Tuberosa di Notte is a blend of night blooming tuberose and exotic agave nectar.  I'm not sure if it's coincidence or research, but tuberose (Polianthes Tuberosa) flowers are related to the agave plant. Whatever the inspiration, the blend is genius!  I love the simple sweetness the agave nectar adds to this floral fragrance.

Tuberosa di Notte is a beautiful, clean floral and clearly represents the essence of the tuberose flower.  I appreciate that this fragrance isn't heady at all, which is hard to manage with such a dominant floral.  There is something almost zesty or soapy clean about it.  It's as if the actual flowers are in the room with their simple beauty and scent.

The agave nectar is barely noticeable but so enjoyable.  I actually liked it so much that I lit a Jonathan Adler Sugar candle in the same room to amplify and deepen the sweet note with it's caramelized sugar fragrance.  If I added a Voluspa French Bourbon Vanille candle at the same time it would create an even better version of the popular Voluspa Fleurs de Fete fragrance.

Voluspa Tuberosa di Notte is available in a ceramic candle, jar candle, 2-wick tin, diffuser and room spray.

Burn quality 4/5.  Fragrance intensity 3/5.

Votivo Pink Mimosa

Votivo recently launched a new fragrance - Pink Mimosa.

When it’s time to unwind, relax as you breathe in the sweet aroma of strawberries mixed with Mimosa and Vanilla Rum.

This fragrance is definitely relaxing.  Notes of vanilla rum sandalwood add warmth while lively notes from mandardin and strawberry tickle the senses.  The cold throw on this candle reminds me of strawberry scented products from my youth.  This is not a positive reaction, for me, as those things turned my stomach.

As such, it took me many months to build up the courage to try this scent.  I'm so glad I finally did.  Within minutes of lighting the vanilla rum creates such a warmth and depth that I'm instantly in love.  The slightest hints of gardenia, honeysuckle and mimosa add a nice grown-up touch and  any abysmal thoughts from childhood are instantly banished.

If you like Voluspa Santiago Huckleberry then this fragrance is a must try scent for you.  I was hesitant to try that scent as well as the overly jammy cold throw scared me off.  However, Voluspa Santiago Huckleberry (like Votivo Pink Mimosa) has such a soothing quality.  They both come across like a gentle hug.  Perfection!

Votivo Pink Mimosa is available in a candle, diffuser, room spray and travel tin.  The travel tin candle would be perfect for a sexy weekend getaway...  just sayin'.

Facebook Top Fan March 2012 - Ryan Patrick Kelley

Guest Post by Ryan Patrick Kelley
March 2012 Facebook Top Fan

Spring has sprung!  Well, almost.

The weather here in Ohio is so fickle that it normally means spring one day and winter the next!

I have to admit that Spring isn't my #1 favorite season. I am a fall-winter lover. They are more cozy to me for some reason. I am sure my feelings of adoration towards the colder months would end if some sort of apocalyptic disaster was to happen and humanity was left without the power to keep us comfortably warm...but, let's not go THERE.    Eeek!

But, spring has it's moments for me.

I love the colors that come to life as nature starts awakening from it's peaceful slumber. The tiny buds popping up on the trees around my home that will soon sprout into lush green vegetation. The splashes of yellows, red and purple in my yard from the wild flowers making their first appearance. It seems like they slowly make their way into the world and wash away all the grey and black that the snowy months leave behind.

The way it turns our dreary black and white world into a technicolor dream is enchanting. It's like Dorothy opening the door from her home and seeing the colorful world of Oz for the first time. It has that same sort of magical aura to it.

The best thing to come from spring would be the fabulous scents. Nature provides us with such an abundance of dreamy fragrances when the thaw takes place. To me, spring is a fabulous melding of sweet fruits and whimsical florals.

Nest Peony Blanche is the exemplary spring fragrance. I have yet to meet someone who has smelled this candle and disliked it. The beautiful florals are entirely fresh and feminine. There is nothing heavy or cloying about this blend. Peony Blanche will bring an incredible amount of vibrancy to any home. Nest deserves a medal for crafting such POTENT fragrances. The throw on every Nest scent is phenomenal. Out of this world potency! They can fill a room unlike no other! The light pink decor for the box is also enticing and spring-like. Nest is the BEST!!!

Another brilliant scent for spring would be Odin Owari. I can't get enough of this fresh, lively citrus based scent. Talk about a COMPLEX blend. Owari is composed of a plethora of rich accords. The best part of this candle is that despite a surplus of fragrant notes coming together they each have their own special moment during the burn-session. I love how zesty Owari is. The mandarin is the prominent fragrance note that everything else works around. The other accords weave in and out of the citrus and act playfully with it. I love this scent so much! The vessel is insanely beautiful. I love the glossy black glass and the heavy metal lid to keep dust out.

My third favorite spring scent is a newbie for me. I was recently gifted a Moso Bamboo by a wonderfully kind friend and have been burning it for the last two days and am absolutely obsessed with it. Voluspa always makes me happy. I liken this fragrance to Golden Cypress Sawara. It has the same type of feeling to it but it is softened and sweetened a little more by the addition of the green bamboo and the black musc. There is something very sugary about this scent as well which I adore. I am loving the freshness of this scent. The throw is fabulous as well.

I am welcoming Spring wholeheartedly this year. I hope everyone enjoys watching the world awaken and burst forth with color and life.

Thanks for reading!!!

Top 3 Valentine's Day Fragrances for Men

If you think I'm crazy suggesting candles as a gift for a guy this Valentine's Day, think again.  You'd be amazed how many men love fragrance and even love to shop for their favorite scent.  And yes, I mean straight guys too.
photo from flickeringwickscandles.com
If you're not sure what to get, here are our top 3 picks for guys this Valentine's Day:

1. Belle Fleur Kyara Clove.  I know. I rave about this one constantly and here I go again.  Do your guy a favor and surround him with the scent of a real man-cave.  This fragrance will make him feel like he is being cradled in the comfort of an over-sized, worn leather chair while surrounded by books and walls with rich wood paneling.  As manly as this fragrance sounds, don't be afraid to put it in the bedroom.  It's sexy and sultry and creates the perfect backdrop for a memorable night.  Oh, la la.

2. Voluspa Warm Perique Tabac.  Tobacco is a scent that many people have a hard time grasping in home fragrance, but give it a try and you'll be as addicted to tobacco candles as a chain-smoker is to cigarettes.  Happily, this addiction is healthier.  Voluspa Warm Perique Tabac starts off sharp in the cold throw but don't let that scare you. This candle is not about Grandpa's pipe.  The fragrance warms up and opens like a fine wine as it burns to create a room filled with wide plank wood floors marred with years of memories,  vintage leather bound books filled with history and fine tobacco.  This fragrance works for any guy  - from the guy that built the bridge to the one that designed it.  If you're still not convinced your guy will love a candle, get him the tin.  He can't break it and he can put the lid on it and jam it in his drawer until you arrive to avoid his friends mocking.  (Trust us, this won't happen but we know how you think.)

3. ODIN 03 Century.  There is no sexier candle on the market than ODIN.  Period.  Sleek black vessel that screams strength with it's extra-thick walls.  Heavy metal, multi-purpose black lid.  Dark wax.  This is Old Spice Guy meets James Bond in candle form.  Century offers hearty wood notes of silver birch and cypress layered on top of a sexy base of smoky vetiver and liquid myrrh.  *drooling*  If you don't have a guy in your life, buy this for yourself and all you'll see is six pack abs around you.  Oh, yeah.

Surprise your guy with a candle this Valentine's day and he'll surprise you in all kinds of romantic ways.  For more Valentine's Day gift ideas, check out our website.

Facebook Top Fan December 2011 - Kathy Muelker

Guest Post by Kathy Muelker
December Facebook Top Fan

My love affair with luxury candles began on Valentine’s Day 2010. My husband and I took a weekend trip to a nearby small town known for its quaint gift shops, antique stores, and rustic charm. We sauntered in and out of several shops along the main street, but one particular gift shop stood out. Upon entering the store I was immediately drawn in by a wonderful fragrance, which enticed me to explore further. The source of the lovely aroma was a candle, burning steadily and beautifully. The fragrance was Trapp Lemongrass Verbena, and I just had to have it. I was already a big fan of lemongrass—in love with the mildly sweet and refreshing citrus fragrance, but the addition of vanilla in this candle added a calming, tranquil effect. After lingering in the shop for what seemed like hours and sniffing all the Trapp candles, my husband agreed that Lemongrass Verbena was a good choice. In addition to the candle, we purchased the home fragrance mist and a couple of votives. Thus, the addiction was born.

After happily burning my new candle every day, I searched the web to see where I could buy more Trapp products. I found several online sources and a few local retailers who carried Trapp. I spent quite a bit of time perusing websites, reading and comparing, feeling a bit overwhelmed by the vast selection of luxury home fragrance products. Several more weeks passed before I finally decided to place an online order with Candles off Main. I found their website appealing and easy to navigate, and I enjoyed reading the blog posts too. Their active Facebook page made the ‘who-will-get-my-business?’ decision even easier. I found useful information, fun contests/giveaways, and a growing number of fans who seemed helpful and friendly. After all, I was (and still am) a true novice when it comes to luxury home fragrances. I lurked and learned for many weeks before I built up the courage to post on the COM Facebook page.

Fast forward many months—and now I feel like part of the family, posting photos of my candles and joining the discussions. I continue to learn a great deal from the faithful fans and customers of Candles off Main, and I appreciate all the great tips and personal recommendations. I can’t say enough about the exceptional service I’ve received as a COM customer, and I’ll continue as a ‘top fan’ until my flame burns out.

I’m grateful that Candles off Main maintains a strong social media presence and allows candle fanatics to congregate in a virtual safe haven—their Facebook page. For those of us who live thousands of miles from the shop in Annapolis (which I dream of visiting someday), we have a cozy place to share our enthusiastic love of luxury candles and home fragrances.

My 3 favorite products at Candles off Main:

Voluspa Mandarino Cannela
The fragrance of this candle is a refined blend of orange and cinnamon—but not your typical holiday fragrance. There is a spirited and sophisticated vibe, with a robust note of fresh ginger peeking through to grab your attention. The vanilla adds a luxurious creaminess, and the nutmeg perfectly complements the other components. Mandarino Cannela has a sanguine quality that is invigorating--and quickly brightens a dull day. The red glass vessel adds an extra touch of distinction to this beautiful fragrance, and I’ll never tire of it.

Aura Karma
It’s difficult to choose my favorite Aura candle, but Karma stands out as the perfect soft blend of sweetness and spiciness. A purifying fragrance emerges from this candle and wraps me in its arms, filling my spirit with peacefulness. When I burn this candle at the end of an arduous day, the lovely aroma filters the toxins and carries them away. Serenity is mine, and a restful sleep awaits me. If this fragrance is my “fate” then so be it—I readily accept it.

Voluspa Macaron
Macaron is a confectionery delight for my senses, yet more comforting and soothing than a cookie or pastry could ever be. There’s a deep, rich quality to this fragrance that I imagine is scrumptiously similar to a genuine Macaron de Paris. I can’t get enough of this candle; it leaves me wanting more and more. The perfect complement to a relaxing bubble bath, I usually prefer to stay in close proximity to this candle because the throw is not as strong as other Voluspa candles. However, the divine aroma is a panacea for all problems, big and small. All is well in my world after burning Macaron.

I must mention a few other favorites that were contenders for my top 3: Votivo Clean Crisp White, Aura Muse, Trapp Sexy Cinnamon, and Aquiesse Monterey Pine.
