A FIVE STAR gift shop less than one block off the water in Beaufort, North Carolina. Lots of neat gift items, jewelry, home decor, and apparel. I love the garden Lilly maintains between her building and the next one. SEE THE PHOTOS

Popped in to do some shopping and was greeted by true southern hospitality! Purchased a hand made mermaid doll for my daughter and will return again. Stop here if you visit historic downtown Beaufort, NC.

Note: new location is on Turner Street, near Front Street. Awesome shop! The owner is fantastic and great with kids (and adults!), engaging on various items in the store with our kids and discussing origin stories of some of her items. She showed us a Tibetan singing bowl, offering our kids the chance to see it and try it themselves. We purchased one from her because it was so cool and how she went out of her way to engage with our kids.
