The Home Depot

My mom and I were in Home Depot’s Garden section early this afternoon and we had the pleasure of receiving help from Dave (or David?). He was not only helpful, he was a pleasure to talk to. A very remarkable, kind, and happy man. To say that his positive, jolly demeanor was refreshing would be an understatement. Thanks Dave!

To say I was a little miffed was an understatement. When I buy lumber I expect to get what I pay for and you advertise,but unfortunately I did not. When I purchase a 2x6x8 that is what I expect to get not a 1 1/4x5 1/2x 8 . The only true thing was the 8ft length...check your wood measurements from this place they are ripping their consumers off.

We went in with a plumbing problem and had more questions than answers about how to fix it and what we needed. Roy asked if he could help us and then patiently talked us through our issue and gave us a workable solution along with all the parts we needed to fix it. Without Roy's kind, knowledgeable help, we'd still be grappling with the issue and searching for solutions. Can't thank Roy enough for taking the time to help us. He's a real gem!

Visited the Longview store on Sunday 23rd of February 2025. Had a plumbing math problem an I ran into Roy that works in the plumbing department. He was polite, patient and very knowledgeable. He sent us home with everything we needed to get the job done. We really appreciated the great customer service we received from Roy. Thanks a bunch.

Did not have the smoker advertised and the system said they had 3 in stock. They didn't have any smokers at all and it took over 10 and multiple pages to get anyone to help. Went to lower and found a better smoker at a cheaper price. Never going back because this is the 3rd time I've went in to find something that was supposedly in stock just to find out it's not there.
