I got my first tattoo with Leif today. I had no clue what to expect really. Leif made it a wonderful experience. His professionalism and raw talent are amazing. From the first time I reached out to Leif, till the moment I walked out the door with my new artwork. He made the experience great. He is supper responsive and makes you feel like you matter. I’m not an expert on tattoo shops but Black Candle Tattoo Co. has set the bar pretty high in my opinion. Would highly recommend!

My first tattoo. A gift to myself for my 50th year and to surprise my husband. Had a wonderful experience. Leif walked me through all the steps from design selection and what it means, placement and size & what to expect each step the day of the appointment. Highly talented artist, very professional, and of course a very cool guy.

Leif did my first tattoo and he listened to all of my questions, no matter how silly I thought they were, he gave great advice, and made sure I knew how to follow through with the care of my new tattoo. It was a great experience, and I’m planning to have him create my next tattoo. Edited two years later: Leif just created my third tattoo and I’m still wildly happy with everything! Communication, service, and the art- all fantastic. I highly recommend!
