QFC Introduce

For residents in the vicinity of W Dravus St in Seattle, QFC at 1600 W Dravus St serves as a local grocery store providing a range of food and household items. When considering where to shop for everyday needs, and perhaps even items related to the platform category "Candles Near Me" (as grocery stores often stock a selection of candles and home fragrance products), it's useful to have a comprehensive understanding of what this particular QFC location offers, based on recent customer experiences.

Feedback from customers regarding the QFC on W Dravus St presents a somewhat mixed picture. One customer shared a negative experience concerning the store's return policy. They highlighted that QFC is owned by Kroger and that, generally, Kroger store-bought items can be returned to any of their stores with a receipt, whether digital or physical. However, this customer recounted an incident where two older employees at this specific QFC location allegedly refused to honor this policy, even though the customer stated they had successfully done so previously. This encounter left the customer feeling poorly treated, emphasizing a potential inconsistency or lack of knowledge of the return policy among some staff members. For local shoppers, understanding a store's return policy is crucial, especially when purchasing items they might need to return or exchange.

Another customer review painted a broader picture of discomfort while shopping at this QFC. This individual mentioned several contributing factors to this feeling, including what they perceived as "unequitable policy enforcement," issues with potentially "moldy, expired food," "wasteful price gouging practices," and concerns about "general cleanliness and maintenance." These are significant issues for any grocery store, as they directly impact the quality of goods available and the overall shopping environment. Such feedback suggests that some customers have experienced problems with the basic standards expected of a grocery retailer.

Interestingly, the same customer who expressed discomfort also noted that the staff are "great" but implied that they are not able to perform at their best due to what the customer believes is poor "pay, compensation, and treatment" by the corporate entity. This suggests a potential disconnect between the customer's positive perception of the individual employees and their negative assessment of the store's operational and ethical practices. It raises questions about employee morale and the overall work environment, which can indirectly affect the customer experience.

Considering the typical offerings of a grocery store like QFC, customers can generally expect to find a wide selection of fresh produce, meats, dairy products, bakery goods, frozen foods, pantry staples, beverages, and household supplies. These stores often also have sections for health and beauty items, as well as a limited selection of home goods, which might include candles, air fresheners, and other scented products that align with the "Candles Near Me" category. However, based on the provided reviews, the quality and maintenance of these offerings at the W Dravus St location might be inconsistent.

In terms of the environment of the store, the reviews don't provide a detailed description of the layout or ambiance. However, the mention of "general cleanliness and maintenance issues" suggests that the physical environment might not always be up to the desired standards. This could impact the overall comfort and appeal of shopping at this location for local residents.

Regarding services, beyond the standard grocery shopping, QFC typically offers services like checkout lanes (including self-checkout in some locations), customer service desks for inquiries and returns (though the experience with returns seems to be inconsistent at this store), and possibly online ordering with pickup or delivery options (though this is not mentioned in the provided reviews for this specific store). The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff seem to vary, at least in terms of policy knowledge and enforcement.

Features that might attract local shoppers to any QFC include its affiliation with Kroger, which often entails a loyalty program that offers discounts and rewards. The potential availability of a wide range of products, including organic and specialty items, is also a common feature of larger grocery chains. However, the reviews for this specific location raise concerns about the quality and pricing of these features.

No specific promotional information for the QFC at 1600 W Dravus St is mentioned in the provided text. Grocery stores typically have weekly ads and in-store promotions, which local customers would need to check through the store's website, app, or physical flyers to be aware of any current deals.

In summary, the QFC on W Dravus St in Seattle appears to be a grocery store with some significant challenges based on recent customer feedback. While it offers the convenience of a local grocery option where one might find a variety of products, including potentially candles and home fragrance items, there are concerns regarding inconsistent application of return policies, potential issues with food quality and pricing, and the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the store. On a more positive note, one customer found the staff to be "great," although they also expressed concerns about their treatment by the company. Local residents considering shopping at this location should weigh these factors based on the experiences shared by other customers.

The QFC is located at 1600 W Dravus St, Seattle, WA 98119, USA. They can be contacted by phone at (206) 283-3600 or mobile at +1 206-283-3600. Potential shoppers may want to consider the recent feedback when deciding whether this store meets their needs and expectations for a local grocery provider.

Its fine. However, some of the workers here don't know their own return policy, apparently. Just in case anyone wasn't aware, QFC is owned by Kroger. You're allowed to return any Kroger store bought items to any of their stores with a receipt, digital or not. But despite doing just that before a few months ago, two of the older workers decided to fight me on that and say no over and over again, interrupting me every time I said anything. How kind truly 😒

QFC feels increasingly uncomfortable to shop at. If it's not the unequitable policy enforcement, the moldy, expired food, the wasteful price gouging practices, or general cleanliness and maintenance issues, it's the fact I can tell staff pay, compensation, and treatment is pathetic. Great staff, but they can't be the best because they deserve better from corporate.

All laundry detergent is locked up, pressed the button, Waited 5 mins, nobody arrived. I gave up, and left with out buying anything. Not going to bother coming by here again, TJ’s up the road is better.

They are nice co workers friendly people but the food well I think they need to switch up the variety a lil you know mix it up a bit. They only had one type of steak the other day I was surprised but then I got BOGO new york steaks. I like ribeye steaks way better so it'd be nice to see a bigger selection soon.
