In the spring of 2012, Jason Wu collaborated with NEST Fragrances to launch his first luxury scented candle, Orchid Rain.
“Florals play an important role in my designs, so for my firstfragrance, I wanted to create a floral scent that would reflect myfeminine design aesthetic,” said Jason Wu.
Orchid Rain combines the rare and fragrant white Cattleya orchid with nashipear, pomegranate and goji berry. The candle is decorated with a signature grey, black and white orchid-floral petal print, inspired naturally by Wu's Spring 2012 collection. The sophisticated, custom-made porcelain candle vessel is topped with an elegant,gold-plated lid.
