Yay! I'm so excited about this! Love Nest!!! I have yet to smell this one so I'm eager to try it out! :)
ReplyDeleteI would create a candle for Kelly Clarkson in a warm apple cider fragrance in a white glass container.
ReplyDeleteI would create a candle dedicated to my childhood/teen musical idol...Madonna! The scent would be a sexy mix of bitter chypres, soft and creamy vanilla, a decent helping of leather (for the bad girl in her!) and a nice portion of musk from feminine skin heated up during a rowdy dance fest. Possibly add a little black currant for a bit of an edge since the Material Girl has been edgy her entire career!
ReplyDeleteThe candle itself would be very simple. I am all for the packaging and box to more so represent Madonna as the artist she is. I would want the box to have a kind of 80's retro influence to it as far as the color scheme goes. I would want the decor of the box to be very "pop art" and maybe include little images of Madonna throughout the various stages of her career but all in the same dyed out color-scheme. I have the vision in my mind and it's hard to really put to words.
The candle itself would be super simple and chic. I would want it to be a basic black vessel with either a Star (Lucky Star?) with an M inside it or a possibly a crazy looking Crucifix to pay homage to her Like A Virgin/Like a Prayer moments...But, it would be jazzed up to the max.
Oy!
LOL! Love it:)
DeleteTo me, the Modern Alchemy Salem candle is the perfect candle for Alice Cooper (the goth shock-rock singer/performer)--- still going after all these years and just as coolly noir as ever (:
ReplyDeleteI would create A fresh crisp mulled cider and mint scent for Sir Elton John.
ReplyDeleteI would create an English rose scent for Adele and throw in a little zest like lime for her spunkiness.
ReplyDeleteI would create a black licorice/anise scent for Lady Gaga! Strange but you just can't stay away!
ReplyDeleteI would create a cardamom tobacco candle, in a frosted grey tumbler, for Leonard Cohen
ReplyDeleteI would create an obscure floral blend for Florence Welch. It would include notes of violet, moss, blonde tabac, and a very small touch of pure vanilla bean for warmth. The blend would have a base of watery notes. The vessel would be black with gold accents. Simple yet strong, with the perfect touch of feminine.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Caitlin! You won an Elton John Woodside Garden candle for your comment.
DeleteI would create an ode to one of my all-time favorite crooners, Frank Sinatra. The fragrance would be very masculine and mysterious. I would want to include a strong tobacco accord with warm leather and musk. Round it out with cognac and a soft essence of sandalwood. The vessel would be black and simple. The packaging would be black and white with Sinatra written as the label.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds fantastic!
