In honor of Autism Awareness month, we'll donate 10% of all our Nest Fragrances Blue Garden candle sales in the month of April, 2010, to Autism Speaks. Autism affect 1 in 110 children and Autism Speaks is "the nation's largest autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families."
The Nest Fragrances Blue Garden was created to help raise money for Autism Speaks. Laura and Harry Slatkin have a child with autism, so this is a great way for them to raise money for an important cause. Proceeds of Nest Fragrances sale of the Blue Garden candle are donated to Autism Speaks.
