In this episode we open a mystery box sent to us from Beth's Boutique Candle. She sent 4 candles for us to review. The packaging is creative and nice quality and the candle burned beautifully in the shop. The scents she sent include Bamboo Garden, Aloha, Blueberry Muffin and Lemon Pound Cake.

Thanks so much for taking the time to review the samples I sent to you. It was my absolute pleasure to send them. These four candles are from my "Room Perfume" line. They are made with my room perfume paraffin blend which is a beautifully burning wax that meshes perfectly with the fragrance and is able to hold it exceptionally well, creating a richly scented candle. The wicks used are zinc and are of course lead free. The zinc wicks are a perfect match for this container and wax blend. I test all of the new scents that I introduce extensively to develop an ideal wax to container diameter to wick and fragrance formula. You mentioned whether or not I blend my fragrances myself. One of my greatest pleasures is creating my fragrance blends that reflect memories of scents that I have experienced. My tagline, "Every fragrance tells a story" as well as my scenic scent descriptions found at my Etsy site reflect the importance to me of linking scent to experience and memory. In addition to my classic Room Perfume line, I have a 100% soy line that uses pure soy wax (not a blend) with cotton wicks. The black and white boxes are typically for the frosted tumblers. The scent name is on the bottom of the box for retail display. The mason jars are used with my fruit and foody scents but all scents can be special ordered in the tumblers.
